29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks shall be examined before being placed in service and shall not be placed in service if the examination shows any condition adversely affecting the safety of the vehicle. Such examination shall be made at least daily.   On or about August 21, 2024, the employer did not ensure that the  Caterpillar Model GC25 was examined for conditions that could adversely affect the truck's safety before being placed into service.  Employees operated lift trucks to move various materials throughout the facility.  Abatement documentation is required for this item in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1903.19(d).
