29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i)(D): Except as elsewhere required or permitted by this standard, live parts of electric equipment operating at 50 volts or more shall be guarded against accidental contact by use of approved cabinets or other forms of approved enclosures or by elevation of 2.44 m (8.0 ft) or more above the floor or other working surface: a) Storage Shed: On or about August 26th, 2024 a light fixture equipped with unguarded incandescent light bulbs measured 7 feet 8 inches above floor level, exposing employees to cuts due to shattered glass, and contact with energized parts. The USDA, Natural Resources Conservation Services was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.303(g)(2)(i)(D), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1706207, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on December 11th, 2023 with respect to a workplace located at Spokane, WA.
