29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10):Each employee engaged in roofing activities on low-slope roofs with unprotected sides and edges 6 feet or more above lower levels, was not protected from falling by guardrail systems, safety net systems, personal fall arrest systems, or a combination of warning line system and guardrail system, warning line system and safety net system, or warning line system and personal fall arrest system, or warning line system and safety monitoring system. Or, on roofs 50-feet (15.25 m) or less in width, each employee was not protected by use of a monitoring system. a) Dzen Commercial Roofing, LLC, west roof; On or about September 13, 2024 and at times prior the foreman and employees were exposed to falls hazards at heights greater than 6 feet with a low-pitch while placing new shingles on the roof and no fall protection was in use. Dzen Commercial Roofing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(10), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1480680, citation number 01, item number 01 and was affirmed as a final order on 7/29/2020, with respect to a workplace located at 443 Hartford Road, Manchester, CT.
