29 CFR 1910.303(g)(2)(i): Except as�elsewhere required�or permitted�by this�standard, live�parts of�electric equipment�operating at�50 volts�or more�shall be�guarded against�accidental contact by�use of�approved cabinets�or other�forms of�approved enclosures: b)Smithfield Packaged Meats Corp. at 1400 North Weber Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57103: On or about an at times prior to September 17, 2024, the employer did not ensure that energized wiring for electrical components integral for machine operation on FES ammonia compressor model 17LB (CPAM-DC04), serial number 19L149V was guarded from accidental contact by the use of approved enclosures. This condition exposed employees to electrical shock hazards. c)Smithfield Packaged Meats Corp. at 1400 North Weber Avenue, Sioux Falls, SD 57103: On or about an at times prior to September 17, 2024, the employer did not ensure that energized wiring for electrical components integral for machine operation on Stellar ammonia compressor model 23MB (CPAM-DC02), serial number AB10441V was guarded from accidental contact by the use of approved enclosures.
