29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). The controlling employer does not protect each subcontractor employee from fall hazards while engaged in roofing work on a sloped roof with the ground to eave heights of up to approximately 24 feet by the use of guardrail system, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system. a) This most recently occurred on September 20, 2024, at a jobsite located at 5991-6005 Eden Valley Drive, Westerville, Ohio 43081. Subcontractor employees engaged in roofing activity are not protected from fall hazards while working at an elevation of up to approximately 24 feet above the ground.
