29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1): The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (Construction Reference: 1926.59)  On or about September 20, 2024, at the job site located at 25136 177th Terrace Gardner, Kansas, employees engaged in residential framing activities were exposed to chemical hazards in that a written hazard communication program had not been developed, implemented and maintained at the job site. Employees were handling, diesel fuel, which is a category 3 flammable liquid, an irritant as well as a category 2 carcinogen. The employees were also using Titebond Pros Advantage, which is an eye irritant, reproductive toxicant and also flammable.  Five Star Framing, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1704902, citation number 1, item number 1 as affirmed as a final order on 01/24/2024, with respect to a workplace located at Parkside reserve lot 20, Olathe Kansas 66061.
