29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). (a) On or about October 1, 2024, at 3841 S. Bluestem Dr, Oak Creek, WI 53154, employees installing a roof on an existing residential home with an approximately 10:12 pitch roof were not using fall protection. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 11 feet 3 inches from the roof eve to the ground below on the right (west) side of the home.

Bluestem Dr, Oak Creek, WI 53154, the employer did not ensure that employees conducting roofing operations and exposed to potential fall hazards had been trained to recognize and minimize the fall hazards associated with their work.
