29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1):One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about September 23, 2024, at 1500 Danner Drive Aurora, OH 44202, the employer failed to ensure employees operating the Haeger 618 PEM machine was protected from a caught in hazard in that the top of the ram was not guarded/protected against getting pulled into the rams return to its starting position.
