29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface having an unprotected side or edge which was six or more feet (1.8m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. a) Mid Miami Roofing, Inc. at worksite located at 1415 S. Main Street, Findlay, Ohio, 45840: On or about October 9, 2024, the employer failed to ensure employees were protected from falls while performing sheeting operations atop a single-story commercial structure. An employee supporting these operations atop the structure without the benefit of fall protection was exposed to falls of approximately 14 feet or greater to the ground below.
