29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b). (a) On or about October 10, 2024, at 9675 S. Burell St, Oak Creek, WI 53154, employees installing a roof on an existing residential home with an approximate 7:12 pitch were not using fall protection. This exposed employees to a fall hazard of approximately 9 feet 1 inch from the roof eve to the ground below on the back (west) side of the home and 15 feet from the peak / rake edge of the roof to the ground below.
