29 CFR 1910.147(f)(1)(ii): Remove employees from the machine or equipment area in accordance with paragraph (e)(2) of this section; On or about October 7, 2024, at an establishment located at 1236 North 18th Street in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, in the Old Pan Line department; employees were exposed to crushing and sheer point hazards while troubleshooting hydraulic valves on the upper level above Clearing Press 3371 when they were not removed from the machine or equipment area during testing and repositioning. An employee on the ground level activated the machine at the control panel exposing the employee on the upper level to machine hazards created by the unguarded pullback cylinders.
