On or about October 17, 2024 and times prior thereto, employees where doing roof repair work on a single story residential home at heights above 6 feet without utilizing fall protection.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed. On or about October 17, 2024 and times prior thereto, employees where utilizing an extension ladder that did not extend 3 feet above the upper landing surface to access the roof where workers were doing roof repair work.
