29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):  (a) On or about October 18, 2024, at a job site located at 1231 E Fitzsimmons Rd Oak Creek, WI 53154, the employer failed to ensure employees tasked with installing shingles and ridge vent on a 3/12 pitch roof were protected by guardrail systems, safety net systems, and/or personal fall arrest systems, exposing the employees to a fall hazard of approximately 8.7 feet in the front, on the first level of the house.  The Gomez Construction LLC  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1751876, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on 7/9/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 1989 Stonehaven Drive, Sun Prairie, WI 53590.

29 CFR  1926.503(a)(1):The employer did not provide a training program for each employee potentially exposed to fall hazards to enable each employee to recognize the hazards of falling and the procedures to be followed in order to minimize these hazards:  (a) On or about October 18, 2024, located at 1231 E Fitzsimmons Rd, Oak Creek, WI, 53154, the employer did not ensure that employees exposed to potential fall hazards  while working from a 3:12 pitch roof had been properly trained to recognize, minimize, or eliminate the fall hazards associated with this work.  The Gomez Construction LLC  was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR  1926.503(a)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1751876, citation number 1, item number 3, and was affirmed as a final order on 7/9/2024, with respect to a workplace located at 1989 Stonehaven Drive, Sun Prairie, WI 53590.
