29 CFR 1926.416(e)(1): Worn or frayed electric cords or cables were used. Location: a) Rooftop at 1440 Amsterdam Avenue, New York, NY 10027. On or about 10/21/2024, employees used an electric angle grinder to grind the concrete floor surface in preparation for waterproofing. The angle grinder and the extension cords connected to the grinder were worn and frayed, and the electrical insulation was damaged.
