29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a) 122 West Main Street Quentin, PA - On or about October 25, 2024, employees performing residential construction on a multi-level stick-built apartment building were exposed to fall hazards approximately 22 feet from the third story to grade. Employees were not utilizing any means of fall protection.  AK Builders LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health Standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1722683, citation number 1, item number 1-a and was affirmed as a final order on July 17, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at Lot 16, Hawthorne Drive, Harrisburg, PA 17110.  Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
