29 CFR 1910.1200(e)(1):The employer did not develop, implement, and/or maintain at the workplace a written hazard communication program which describes how the criteria specified in 29 CFR 1910.1200(f), (g), and (h) will be met: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) At the job site located at 1804 East Village Estates Dr., Park City, KS 67147, employees engaged in residential roofing activities were exposed to chemical hazards in that the employer did not developed a written hazard communication program. Employees utilize Tamko Heritage asphalt shingles or Tribuilt sealant as part as their roofing activities. The chemical hazards associated both chemical products are but not limited to: causes skin, respiratory and eye irritation, may cause an allergic skin reaction and causes damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure.

29 CFR 1910.1200(g)(8): The employer did not maintain in the workplace copies of the required safety data sheets for each hazardous chemical, and did not ensure that they were readily accessible during each work shift to employees when they were in their work area(s): (Construction Reference: 1926.59) At the job site located at 1804 East Village Estates Dr., Park City, KS 67147, employees engaged in residential roofing activities were exposed to chemical hazards in that they were not provided access to the Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) for Tamko Heritage asphalt shingles or Tribuilt sealant. The chemical hazards associated both chemical products are but not limited to: causes skin, respiratory and eye irritation, may cause an allergic skin reaction and causes damage to organs through prolonged or repeated exposure.
