29 CFR 1926.502(d)(11): Lifelines were not protected against being cut or abraded: a. The Roof - On or about October 28, 2024, employees were working on the roof installing solar panels, the vertical lifelines and lanyards were not protected from the metal components that presented a cut hazard to the synthetic rope components exposing employees to a fall hazard. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

The Roof - On or about October 28, 2024, employees were working on the roof installing solar panels, the employees were wearing had degraded shock indicators that are essential for ensuring that the equipment is functional and safe for use. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
