29 CFR 1910.9(b):Training. Standards in this part requiring training on hazards and related matters, such as standards requiring that employees receive training or that the employer train employees, provide training to employees, or institute or implement a training program, impose a separate compliance duty with respect to each employee covered by the requirement. The employer must train each affected employee in the manner required by the standard, and each failure to train an employee may be considered a separate violation. a) On or about November 15, 2024, the employer did not ensure all portions of the Amada Band Saw (Model HFA 400W / Serial Number 45752365) machine #6051, except the working portion of the blade between the bottom of the guidepost and the table, were guarded to protect operators from contacting the blade (point of operation). b) On or about November 15, 2024, the employer did not ensure all portions of the Amada Band Saw (Model HFA 400W / Serial Number 45752364) machine #6052, except the working portion of the blade between the bottom of the guidepost and the table, were guarded to protect operators from contacting the blade (point of operation).
