29 CFR 1910.307(c): Equipment, wiring methods, and installations of equipment in hazardous (classified) locations were not intrinsically safe, approved for the hazardous (classified) location, or safe for the hazardous (classified) location: a) On or about November 9, 2024, at the testing laboratory, a Dell monitor and an electrical outlet located next to the gas pod of an EST Analytical instrument was not approved for a classified location. Employees perform a test method ASTM D6667 on this instrument, which subjects to the potential release of flammable liquified petroleum gas (LPG).
