29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition.  (a) On or about November 19, 2024, wood dust accumulation at and around the Baker Products Re-Band Saw was not regularly cleaned up, exposing employees to fire and combustion hazards. Exterior surfaces of the saw,  and the work areas around the saw were covered with an adequate layer of wood dust to facilitate ignition when sparks are created as a result of the heated blade motor that was covered in wood dust.  (b) On or about November 19, 2024, wood dust accumulation at and around the Rusch Saw #1 was not regularly cleaned up, exposing employees to fire and combustion hazards. Exterior surfaces of the saw,  and the work areas around the saw were covered with an adequate layer of wood dust to facilitate ignition when sparks are created as a result of the heated blade motor that was covered in wood dust.
