29 CFR 1910.179(l)(3)(i):Unsafe condition(s) disclosed during the frequent or periodic inspection(s) required by 29 CFR 1910.179(j) were not corrected before operation of the crane(s) was resumed: a.) NLMK Pennsylvania, 15 Roemer Blvd. Farrell, PA 16121: on or about 11-20-2024, and times prior thereto: The company did not correct safety related deficiencies noted during the annual periodic crane inspections. These cranes included, but were not limited to, Alliance 30-ton Overhead Cab Crane #910. Deficiencies included, but were not limited to, missing cab warning label and shock absorbing bumpers are collapsed. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.

NLMK Pennsylvania, 15 Roemer Blvd. Farrell, PA 16121: on or about 11-20-2024, and times prior thereto: The rated load capacity was not plainly marked on each side of the Alliance 30-ton Overhead Cab Crane #910. The numbers "3" and "0" had fallen behind the auxiliary hoist capacity sign on the crane. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
