29 CFR 1926.502(b)(11): Guardrail systems used at holes were not erected on all unprotected sides or edges of the hole. a. On or about November 18, 2024, employees were exposed to fall hazards while performing residential framing work. The stairwell hole did not have a guardrail system that protected on all four sides; it was complete on three sides. This exposed employees to a fall hazard in excess of 8 feet. Romanof Carpenter, LLC was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1758908, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on September 10, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 3155 S Russell ST, Morrison, CO 80465.
