29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Scaffolds and scaffold components shall be inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity. On or about November 19, 2024, at an establishment located at 200 North Appleton Street in Appleton, Wisconsin, an employee of Appleton Lathing Corporation was exposed to fall hazards while were performing work on a narrow frame scaffold that had not been adequately inspected prior to use and did not identify hazards in the setup configuration.
