29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: a) Handle Bag Machine C-Module, on or about December 7, 2024, and at times prior to, the employer exposed employees to caught in hazards in that the employer required employee to operate C-Module of the Handle Bag machine without first providing a mechanism to prevent or protect employee from incidental contact with the point of operation while performing tasks, such as but not limited to, realigning the paper.
