29 CFR 1926.451(b)(1): Each platform on all working levels of scaffolds was not fully planked or decked between the front uprights and the guardrail supports as specified in paragraphs 1926.451(b)(1)(i)-(ii)  a - 114 Ada Hightower Avenue, Hopewell NJ: Workers and the company worksite Foreman were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 13 feet 3 inches, when working and walking from the second  buck of a supported scaffold whose walking/working surface was not fully planked between the front uprights and the guard supports. Observed on or about 12/17/24.     NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.

29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Scaffolds and scaffold components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity:  a - 114 Ada Hightower Avenue, Hopewell NJ: Workers and the company worksite Foreman were exposed to fall hazards, in excess of 13 feet 3 inches, when working/walking from a supported scaffold whose components were not inspected by a competent person.  Being such, the scaffold contained several damaged endframes.  Observed on or about 12/17/24.     NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
