At a multi-family residential worksite located at 8600 block of NE 87th St, KC MO -- an employee engaged in framing duties was using a pneumatic nail gun and not wearing eye protection. This exposed the employee to shrapnel and/or debris to get in his eyes causing injury. This was documented on or about 12/18/2024 and 12/19/2024.

29 CFR 1926.403(b)(1)(iii):The employer did not ensure that electrical equipment was free from recognized hazards that are likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees; sections of the electrical insulation on cords and cables was missing. At a multi-family residential worksite located at 8600 block of NE 87th St, KC MO -- employees were using a portable skilsaw. The saw's outer rubber protective sleeve was worn, cracked and had the inner insulation protruding from it. This exposed the employees to potential electrical shock and/or burns. The employer did not properly inspect the cord prior to using. This was documented on or about 12/18/2024.
