On or about 1/3/2025, the employer did not ensure average air speed over the open face of the Binks paint booth was greater than 100 linear feet per minute (FPM). The actual speed of the air measured across the face of the paint booth was determined to be approximately 45 FPM and thereby exposed employees to hazardous flammable chemical vapors and fire hazards.
