29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function. a) Worksite: On or about 6/18/2025, the employer did not ensure that employees using 3M 6000 series tight-fitting respirators while performing spray painting in the metal finishing room were free of facial hair that would interfere with the sealing surface of the respirator.
