Violation occurred on or about December 23, 2024

29 CFR 1910.151(c): Where employees were exposed to injurious corrosive materials, suitable facilities for quick drenching or flushing of the eyes and body were not provided within the work area for immediate emergency use: a) KNY 26671 LLC dba/ Cooperative Laundry, 1 Eastern Road, Kearny, NJ 07032 Employees were exposed to laundry detergent products containing corrosive chemicals including but not limited to FE Resist with a pH of 10.5, Hydrogen Peroxide 34% with a pH of 4.5, Bleach Pure 15% with a pH of 12.2, Starlite with pH of 12.5, and Ultra Brite Liquid Sour with a pH of 2 while conducting dispensing activities. Violation observed January 7, 2025.
