The dust was tested and determined to be a Class II combustible dust, with an explosion severity of 0.59, a Kst value of 3.23 bar-meters per second, and a pressure ratio of 3.24.

Employees used Rigid NXT shop vac and later Milwaukee M18 Fuel 3-in-1 Backpack Vacuum, to clean combustible dust which are not intrinsically safe or approved electrical equipment for a Class II Division 2 location.  The  lint was tested to be a Class II Dust with an Explosion Severity of 0.59 and KST value of 3.23 bar-meters per second with a Pressure Ratio of 3.24.
