29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): On and before January 17, 2025, during the installation of roofing material at a job site located at 17790 Snyder Road, Chagrin Falls, OH 44023; the employer did not ensure employees working on a roof of a single-family home were protected from a fall of approximately 11 feet by utilizing a fall protection system. Merv & Sons Roofing LLC was previously cited for a violation of this Occupational Safety and Health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13) duty to have fall protection, which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1659070, citation number 01, item number 02 and was affirmed as a final order on June 15, 2023, with respect to a workplace located at KC-10 4700 Kingsbury TR, Richfield Ohio 44286.
