On or about January 28, 2025, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee performing siding installation activities, eleven (11) feet eight (8) above ground, was not protected from falls, thereby exposing the employee to fall hazards.

29 CFR 1926.100(a): Employees were not protected by protective helmets while working in areas where there was a possible danger of head injury from impact, or from falling or flying objects, or from electrical shock and burns: a. On or about January 28, 2025, at the above addressed jobsite, an employee working below siding installation activities was not wearing a hard hat, thereby exposing the employee to struck-by hazards. SYFERT CONSTRUCTION, INC. dba DUPREE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard, 29 CFR 1926.100(a), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1708227, citation number 1, item number 1, and was affirmed as a final order on April 5, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 1551-1555 (Lot 63) Glenbrook Dr. in New Lenox, Illinois.
