29 CFR 1926.451(e)(1): When scaffold platforms were more than 2 feet (0.6 m) above or below a point of access, portable ladders, hook-on ladders, attachable ladders, stair towers (scaffold stairways/towers), stairway-type ladders (such as ladder stands), ramps, walkways, integral prefabricated scaffold access, or direct access from other scaffold, structure, personnel hoist, or similar surface was not used. Cross braces were used as a means of access. a) New commercial construction located on 4152 Browns Bridge Road, Gainesville, GA 30506: On or about 02/03/2025, the employer exposed employees to fall hazards of up to 18-feet to the lower ground level, in that a ladder or other safe means of access was not provided to access the working level of the scaffold system.
