29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1): A written respiratory protection program that included the provisions in 29 CFR 1910.134(c)(1)(i) - (ix) with worksite specific procedures was not established and implemented for required respirator use: a.) 604 Hemlock Road, Morgantown, PA - Painting Area - On or about February 11, 2025, the employer established and implemented a written respiratory protection program for employees who were engaged in painting operations, however the program lacked elements including, but not limited to: - Procedures for selecting respirators for use in the workplace - Procedures for regularly evaluating the effectiveness of the program - Training of employees in the proper use of respirators, including putting on and removing them, any limitations on their use, and their maintenance Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
