29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: (a) On or about February 12, 2025, the employer did not ensure exit routes were unobstructed. Cardboard box waste materials were stored immediately adjacent to the rear exit discharge, and in the exit route leading between the walk-in refrigerator and the rear exit discharge. This condition exposed employees to fire hazards.

29 CFR 1910.101(b): The in-plant handling, storage, and utilization of all compressed gases in cylinders, portable tanks, rail tank cars, or motor vehicle cargo tanks were not in accordance with Compressed Gas Association Pamphlet P-1-1965, which is incorporated by reference as specified in CFR 1910.6: (a) On or about February 12, 2025, the employer did not ensure that proper compressed gas cylinder storage methods were utilized when two cylinders were stood on end in a high traffic area adjacent to the walk-in refrigerator. The employees were exposed to struck-by hazards while utilizing two 25-pound compressed gas cylinders in conjunction with beverage dispensing equipment.
