29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): One or more methods of machine guarding was not provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks: On or about February 24, 2025, employees operating the Delta Drill Press (Model #70-200, Serial #013852)to drill holes into pallets during the assembly process were not protected from hazards created by rotating parts. Guarding to protect the operator and others in the immediate area from flying sparks and debris was not affixed to the machinery.

29 CFR 1910.213(d)(1): Circular handfed crosscut table saw(s) were not guarded by an automatically adjusting hood which completely enclosed that portion of the saw above the table and above the material being cut: On or about February 24, 2025, the employer failed to ensure that the following machinery/equipment was guarded: a) The Jet Table Saw (Model #JKAS-10XL, Serial #SKAS-10XL was not covered by an automatic adjusting hood. Employees using the table saw when cutting plywood for the assembly of pallets were not protected from hazards created by the unguarded rotating saw blade. b) The Saw Stop Table Saw (Model #ICS73230, Serial #I07197575) was not covered by an automatic adjusting hood. Employees using the table saw when cutting plywood for the assembly of pallets were not protected from hazards created by the unguarded rotating saw blade.

29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: a) On or about February 24, 2025, the metal conduit leading into a 220-Volts panel box that powered the Camwood Rip Saw (Model #TRS-0012, Serial #JS20099601) was not connected to the elbow which exposed the internal wiring to abrasions. Employees who operated saw were protected from electrical hazards.
