29 CFR  1926.501(a)(2):The employer did not determine if the walking/working surfaces on which its employees were to work had the strength and structural integrity to support employees safely:  a) On or about September 14th, 2024, and at times prior, Gates Enterprises LLC as the controlling employer, did not ensure that subcontractor employees  performing roofing operations on a detached garage were protected from fall, struck-by and crushing hazards by ensuring that the detached garage had the structural integrity to support the subcontractor employees and materials safely. The roof of the detached garage collapsed while employees were working on it, causing 3 subcontractor employees to fall to the ground below.
