29 CFR 1917.95(b)(1)(ii): The employer did not provide and direct the wearing of personal flotation devices for those employees working in physically limited spaces that created a hazard of falling into the water. (a) At the loading dock located at #45 Pier 2, Building A, on or about 02-27-2025 and at times prior thereto, workers performing longshoring activities were exposed to drowning and cold water hazards in that personal flotation devices were not worn by employees engaged in work where they may be pulled into the water and where physical limitations of available working space creates a hazard of falling into the water.
