29 CFR 1910.22(a)(1): The employer did not ensure that all places of employment, passageways, storerooms, service rooms, and walking-working surfaces are kept in a clean, orderly, and sanitary condition: On or about April 30, 2025, it was observed that employees engaged in rubber making activities in the Black and Oil area of ContiTech USA, LLC located at 4021 North 56th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska were exposed to slip, trip and fall hazards as well as potential fire and explosion hazards in that the employer did not ensure the floor and other horizontal working surfaces were kept clean and free from carbon black a known combustible and other rubber making material(s).
