29 CFR 1910.176(b):Secure storage. Storage of material shall not create a hazard. Bags, containers, bundles, etc., stored in tiers shall be stacked, blocked, interlocked and limited in height so that they are stable and secure against sliding or collapse. a) On or about March 04, 2025, the employer did not ensure that stored materials were stable in the window high storage racks near the Value-Add area, in that the window racking would shake and move when forklifts would load or unload the racks, exposing employees to struck by or crushing hazards.

29 CFR 1910.212(a)(1): General requirements for all machines. Machine guarding. Types of guarding. One or more methods of machine guarding shall be provided to protect the operator and other employees in the machine area from hazards such as those created by point of operation, ingoing nip points, rotating parts, flying chips and sparks. Examples of guarding methods are-barrier guards, two-hand tripping devices, electronic safety devices, etc. a) On or about on March 04, 2025, the employer did not ensure that the Wulfec Wrapper (model WLP 200) was guarded to prevent employees from getting caught in the rotating parts or the arm that comes down to hold the product in place during the wrapping process.
