29 CFR 1926.102(a)(1): Eye and face protective equipment were not used when machines or operations presented potential eye or face injury: a) New residential construction located on Lot #B1 at 2651 Willow Creek Dr., Watkinsville, GA 30084, Ground: On or about 03/04/2025, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating circular saws and pneumatic nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided while cutting framing materials. b) New single- family residential structure located on Lot #B1 at 2651 Willow Creek Dr., Watkinsville, GA 30084, scaffold area: On or about 03/04/2025, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while utilizing hand tools to include hammers, in that protective eyewear was not provided while installing framing material. c) New single- family residential structure located on Lot #B1 at 2651 Willow Creek Dr., Watkinsville, GA 30084, ground level: On or about 03/04/2025, the employer exposed employees to struck-by hazards while operating pneumatic nail guns, in that protective eyewear was not provided while installing framing material.
