29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): At a worksite located at lot 916 Savannah Lane, Greenwood, MO, employees were exposed to fall hazards. The employer exposed the employees to these hazards by allowing them to perform framing work at heights greater than 6 feet without the use of fall protection. Instances of exposure include but are not limited to: 1. One employee performing framing work near the eastern edge of the structures second level. 2. Three employees performing framing work while standing on the joists of the structures second level, near the center of the structure.
