29 CFR 1910.178(p)(1): Powered industrial truck(s) found to be in need of repair, defective, or in any way unsafe had not been taken out of service until restored to safe operating condition(s); a) Parts yard: On or about March 25, 2025, a CAT 908 Front-End Loader with fork attachment had inoperable emergency brakes, inoperable horn, missing side mirrors, inoperable back-up camera, and broken windows exposing the employees to struck-by hazards as this equipment was not taken out of service when repairs were needed. b) Parts yard: On or about March 25, 2025, a Sellick Forklift Truck (SN#10099704) with an inoperable emergency brake exposing employees to struck-by hazards was not taken out of service when repairs were needed.
