29 CFR 1910.213(m)(1): Cutting heads of wood shaper(s) were not enclosed with a cage or adjustable guard so designed so as to keep the operator's hand away from the cutting edge: a) On or about March 21, 2025, and at times prior, the employer, Brooks Brothers Cabinetry, Inc., did not ensure the Bosch Table Router was equipped with a cage or adjustable guard that covered the cutting head of the routing bit. Employees were required to use the table router without a bit cage or guard for wood shaping and cutting operations. This condition exposed employees to amputation and caught-in hazards.

29 CFR 1910.213(p)(4): Belt sanding machinery was not provided with a guard at each nip point where the sanding belt ran onto a pulley, to prevent the operator's hands or fingers from coming into contact with nip points: a) On or about March 21, 2025, and at times prior, the employer, Brooks Brothers Cabinetry, Inc., did not ensure employees were protected from in-running nip points while using the Grizzly G9984 Oscillating Edge Sander. Employees were required to use the edge sander while the in-running pulley guard was in the open position, but missing the inside Guard Plate. This condition exposed employees to in-running nip point hazards.

29 CFR 1910.242(b): Compressed air used for cleaning purposes was not reduced to less than 30 p.s.i.: a) On or about March 21, 2025, and at times prior, the employer, Brooks Brothers Cabinetry, Inc., did not ensure compressed air used for cleaning operations was reduced to a pressure of less than 30 pounds per square inch (psi). Employees were required to use compressed air for wood chip cleaning purposes. The compressed air line pressure was set at approximately 100 psi. This condition exposed employees to air embolism hazards that could result in serious injury.
