29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13):Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501(b): Employees performing roofing work at elevations of six feet or more above the ground are not being protected from fall hazards by a fall protection system: The employer fails to assure effective protection against falls as required by the standard, as demonstrated on April 2, 2025, when four employees performing roofing work on a 8:12 pitch structure located at 4862 Medway Place, Jacksonville, Florida, were exposed to the fall hazards, in that employees did not use any fall protection system. The Blue Sky Homes, Inc. was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1926.501(b)(13), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1724476, citation number 02, item number 001 and was affirmed as a final order on May 21, 2024, with respect to a workplace located at 2102 College Street, Jacksonville, FL 32204.
