29 CFR 1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b): a) Employees performing framing work at elevations of six feet or more above ground are not being protected from fall hazards by a fall protection system: the employer Colossus Contracting Group LLC. fails to assure effective protection against fall as required by the standard. This violation was most recently observed on or about 04/04/2025, when one (1) employee performing framing activities located at 1452 Powell Valley Drive (Lot 131), Port Charlotte, FL 33953, was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 8 feet 9 inches and 9 feet 3 inches, in that, fall protection was not used while an employee was standing on a concrete wall.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(1):Where portable ladders were used for access to an upper landing surface and the ladder's length allows, the ladder side rails did not extend at least 3 feet (.9 m) above the upper landing surface being accessed: a) Employees performing framing work at elevations of six feet or more above ground are not being protected from fall hazards while using ladders: the employer Colossus Contracting Group LLC. fails to assure effective protection against fall as required by the standard. This violation was most recently observed on or about 04/04/2025, when one (1) employee performing framing activities located at 1452 Powell Valley Drive (Lot 131), Port Charlotte, FL 33953, was exposed to fall hazards of approximately 8 feet 9 inches while using an extension ladder to access the top of a concrete wall and the side rails did not extend 3 feet above the landing.
