29 CFR  1926.501(b)(13): Each employee(s) engaged in residential construction activities 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above lower levels were not protected by guardrail systems, safety net system, or personal fall arrest system, nor were employee(s) provided with an alternative fall protection measure under another provision of paragraph 1926.501 (b):   a) On or about April 3, 2025, at a worksite located at 5070 Millwood Lane NW, Washington, DC,  an employee installing plywood on the roof of the house under construction while performing framing work did not have fall protection in place to prevent them from falling an estimated 30 feet.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet), in addition, documentation demonstrating the abatement is complete must be included with your certification.  This documentation may include but is not limited to evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.

29 CFR  1926.503(b)(1):The employer did not verify compliance with paragraph (a) of this section by preparing a written (training) certification record including the name or other identity of the employee trained, the date(s) of the training, and the signature of the person who conducted the training or the signature of the employer.  a) On or about April 3, 2025, at a worksite located at 5070 Millwood Lane NW, Washington, DC, 2nd and 3rd floor; the employer had not certified the fall protection training to employees that may be exposed to fall hazards 6-feet while conducting framing work.  In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(d), abatement ce1tification is required for this violation (using the Certification of Corrective Action Worksheet), in addition, documentation demonstrating the abatement is complete must be included with your certification. This documentation may include but is not limited to evidence of the purchase or repair of the equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement, or other written records.
