29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1): The employer shall administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program, as described in paragraphs (c) through (o) of this section, whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level (TWA) of 85 decibels measured on the A scale (slow response) or, equivalently, a dose of fifty percent. a) at 9655 Northeast 21st Avenue Anthony, Fl 32617, on or about July 10, 2025, a welder was exposed to noise dose levels at 99% of the allowable 8-hour TWA-Action Limit (85 dBA). The equivalent dBA level of 99% is 89.9 dBA. The sampling was performed for 480-minutes during one shift on January 15, 2025. b) at 9655 Northeast 21st Avenue Anthony, Fl 32617, on or about July 10, 2025, a welder was exposed to noise dose levels at 134.2% of the allowable 8-hour TWA-Action Limit (85 dBA). The equivalent dBA level of 134.2% is 92.1 dBA. The sampling was performed for 480-minutes during one shift on January 15, 2025.
