29 CFR 1910.95(c)(1):The employer did not administer a continuing, effective hearing conservation program as described in 29 CFR 1910.9(c) through (o) whenever employee noise exposures equal or exceed an 8-hour time-weighted average sound level of 85 decibels measured on the A scale, or equivalently a dose of fifty percent: a) Sawyer Production area - On or about 04/22/2025, an employee was exposed to continuous noise dose of 65.05% of the permissible daily exposure of 85 dBA (8-hour time weighted average) or equivalent sound levels of 86.9 dBA during 461 minutes sampling period. The exposure calculations included a zero increment for the 19 minutes not sampled. The employer did not implement a continuing and effective hearing conservation program for employees exposed to hearing loss while operating sawyer machine.
