29 CFR 1926.501(b)(1): Each employee on a walking/working surface with an unprotected side or edge which was 6 feet (1.8 m) or more above a lower level was not protected from falling by the use of guardrail systems, safety net systems, or personal fall arrest systems. At the worksite located at 1101 SW Fiord Drive, Lee's Summit, Missouri: Employees were exposed to fall hazards greater than 6 feet when framing a new residential structure without the use of a fall protection system.

29 CFR 1926.1053(b)(5)(i): Non-self-supporting ladders were not used at an angle such than the horizontal distance from the top support to the foot of the ladder way approximately one-quarter of the working length of the ladder (the distance along the ladder between the foot and the top support). At the worksite located at 1101 SW Fiord Drive, Lee's Summit, Missouri: Employees were exposed to fall hazards when using a ladder to access and egress the structure. The ladder was placed at an approximately 44 degree angle.
